New wallet addresses for ETH and ERC-20 tokens

Within a week, we will launch an update to optimise the platform and enhance its security. As a result, wallet addresses for depositing Ethereum (ETH) and ERC-20 tokens will change.

To continue topping up your balance with ETH and ERC-20 tokens, you need to generate new wallet addresses. This will affect 20 cryptocurrencies listed on EXMO, including Chainlink (LINK), Chiliz (CHZ), Dai (DAI), Ethereum (ETH), EXMO Coin (EXM), Gemini Dollar (GUSD), GMT Token (GMT), GNY (GNY) ), IQeon (IQN), Maker (MKR), OmiseGo (OMG), PARSIQ (PRQ), ROOBEE (ROOBEE), Shiba Inu (SHIB), Tether (USDT), Uniswap (UNI), USD Coin (USDC), Wirex token (WXT), yearn.finance (YFI) and 0x (ZRX).

If the address is already displayed in your wallet, then no update is required.

How to generate a wallet address

  1. Log in to your EXMO account and go to the “Wallet” section.
  2. Select the desired currency and click “Top up”.
  3. Click on the “Create Wallet” button. Once it’s generated, use the new address to top up your balance.

Deposits to old addresses for ETH and ERC-20 tokens will be credited automatically within three months after the update. After this period, you will need to generate and use new addresses.
