EXMO to support the Taproot soft fork of Bitcoin’s network
EXMO supports Bitcoin’s Taproot upgrade tentatively scheduled for 14th November 2021.

Due to the upgrade, BTC deposits and withdrawals will be temporarily unavailable for a short period of time during the soft fork. Trading in pairs with BTC will function normally.
The Taproot upgrade will be activated at BTC block height 709,632. This upgrade aims to increase transaction speed and privacy, as well as the flexibility and efficiency of smart contracts on the Bitcoin network.
As soon as we have ensured that the network is operating optimally, BTC deposits and withdrawals will be available again.
