On 5th July 2018, the EXMO cryptocurrency exchange added cryptocurrency Lumens (XLM) to its listing. Users of the platform are now able to trade in the most popular pairs: XLM/BTC, XLM/USD, XLM/RUB.
The EXMO cryptocurrency exchange is expanding its list of accessible trading instruments for active traders and announces the addition of the XLM cryptocurrency to its listing.
Users of the platform can now buy and sell cryptocurrencies in the most popular currency pairs: XLM/BTC, XLM/USD, XLM/RUB. Deposits and withdrawals for these currency pairs are already available via the Finance section.
The Stellar network is a distributed, hybrid blockchain that is fully open-source. It is infrastructure that exists to facilitate cross-asset transfers of value, including payments. Stellar’s distributed ledger provides an instant clearing, settlement, and execution platform, enabling money to move directly between people, companies, and financial institutions across borders as easily as email. Stellar.org was co-founded by Jed McCaleb, who previously created Ripple. Stellar.org’s Chief Scientist David Mazières who created The Stellar Consensus Protocol, is also a professor of Computer Science at Stanford University.
Lumens are the native currency of the Stellar network. Lumens are required to create accounts and complete operations on the Stellar network. XLM has a current market capitalization of $3,6B (according to coinmarketcap.com).
