The difference in time on your mobile device and your computer could be the reason why your TOTP (two-factor authentication) codes don’t work on your device.
The time on the mobile device and the computer must be in sync.
To make sure that your Google Authenticator app is synced correctly:
On the next screen, the app will confirm that the time has been synced, and you should now be able to use your verification codes to sign in. The sync will only affect the internal time of your Google Authenticator app, and will not change your device’s date and time settings.
